i resolve to...

New Year's resolutions are aplenty this time of year. The gym is packed full of people on their new health kick, and "how to keep you resolutions" or "top 10 New Year's resolutions" are all the rage on morning news shows and blogs alike.

I like to keep it simple, none of this "lose weight" or "stop drinking wine and eating chocolate," so here's my list of resolutions for 2012: 
  1. Be present in the now - stop fretting over what lies behind you and ahead
  2. Make passions a job - not just a hobby
  3. Think and act positively
  4. Put "relax" on the list of To-do's
